The event recognized the essential contributions of nurses and students, with discounted tickets offered to healthcare professionals and their families.<\/p>\n<p>Digital Communications Coordinator Dan Williams attended on behalf of the RNUNL, handing out RNUNL-branded Thunder sticks to fans and cheering alongside a lively crowd. The atmosphere was electric as Team Butler and the Eastern Ice Breakers delivered an unforgettable game filled with intensity and determination. Team Butler ultimately triumphed in a four-person shootout, tying for first place in the league standings.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1121 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/intouch.rnunl.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/DwilliamsWAJhl-300x266.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"266\" srcset=\"https:\/\/intouch.rnunl.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/DwilliamsWAJhl-300x266.jpg 300w, https:\/\/intouch.rnunl.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/DwilliamsWAJhl-768x681.jpg 768w, https:\/\/intouch.rnunl.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/DwilliamsWAJhl.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The WJAHL plays a vital role in promoting women\u2019s athletics and fostering community engagement. As a platform for elite female athletes aged 18\u201324, the league provides opportunities to develop both on and off the ice, preparing players for the next steps in their athletic and personal journeys. Through mentorship programs, youth clinics, and volunteer initiatives, the WJAHL connects deeply with the communities it serves\u2014values that align with RNUNL\u2019s mission to support and uplift its members and the broader community.<\/p>\n<p>RNUNL is proud to support initiatives like the WJAHL, recognizing that sports play an important role in promoting wellness, empowerment, and teamwork.
